Marcos Lisboa Neves is a Brazilian physical therapist (1998) who specializes in acupuncture (2000) holds a postgraduate degree in pain (2014) and a master's degree in neuroscience (2018). Researcher at the Neurobiology of Pain and Inflammation Laboratory - LANDI, within the postgraduate program in neuroscience at the Federal University of Santa Catarina - UFSC, where is now pursuing a doctoral degree, with a line of research that involves acupuncture, inflammation, pain and mental disorders.

Morgana Duarte da Silva

Morgana Duarte da Silva is a Brazilian researcher who holds a degree in Physical Therapy (2005). Her interest in Chinese medicine started during undergraduate studies, which led to specialization in acupuncture in 2006. The researcher also holds a master's degree and a doctoral degree in Neuroscience (2009 and 2013). Morgana’s doctoral thesis focused on acupuncture research for the treatment of pain and inflammation. She has been a Professor since 2013 and is experienced in the areas of Physiotherapy, Physiology, Neuroscience, Acupuncture and Electrotherapy. Currently conducts research with non-pharmacological resources in the treatment of pain, inflammation and mood disorders in animal models and in humans.
